Futuristic sky illustrations
Day
Evening
Nightfall.
For my Final Major project in college, I would be working on the theme of Earth From Sky which was focusing on arial views from above and I'm taking this from an illustrators point of view looking at background artists and landscape artists and interpret styles in digital illustrations. For this illustration I was using the method of lineless art and cel shading, techniques used in Manga illustrations. This would help me decide on which method to use for my final pieces and see the effective use of the method for final pieces. I've used this futuristic city skyline scene, to show how when the sun rises the futures just around the corner and what a majestic view this could provide.
I also tried using the shapes from arial photos that I'd taken whilst on a college trip to Paris I took notice of the shapes which were squares and triangles. This could help me develop my skills in terms of background art for scenes in animations or comics for future stories.
