This was some college work done during our last project using a rural theme, and working in the style of photographer/animator Damien Blotiere. The program that we'd used for this animation project was Photoshop which was when I discovered that the program had animation properties which was quiet a surprise to me. To create the animation process I searched the internet for textured or patterned images to go onto this animation as Blotiere uses sections of his photos in his animation work we followed a similar example. The animation itself runs at 24 fps as that is traditional for stop frame animation films which is the process the photographer used. The lesson had granted me some insight to Photoshop and has inspired me to try the process myself. I originally posted this on my l3 art and design blog on tumblr but decided to add this to my own blog so that it would accompany the animation side of my portfolio.
